The speech given by Her Majesty, Queen Wuraola-Zynab Ogunwusi of Ile Ife has sparked more reactions – especially from Nigerian celebrities.

Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo believes the Queen is getting gender roles and gender equality mixed up.

In a post on her Instagram page, the actress asserted that gender equality is more about giving women the same opportunities as men.

However Baba Dee, Sound Sultan‘s brother believes gender equality is a farce and ‘deceptive’ ideology.

He penned his thoughts on his Facebook wall.
