Unfortunately, Wizkid won’t be performing at the Wireless Festival today.

The development was first revealed on Friday afternoon when the pop artiste tweeted about having a visa issue which will deter him from being in the UK to perform at arguably the biggest summer music concert in London.

Although the Shabba singer quickly deleted the tweet, the organisers of the show confirmed the news in a tweet from their account this evening.

Unfortunately due to a visa issue Wizkid will not be able to perform today at Wireless Festival

Having gotten the green-light from the organisers, Wizkid took to Twitter to apologise to the fans who were coming out for the festival while expressing his disappointment at not being able to make the show.
