So our editor in chief rushes into our small space raving about this ah-mazing thing Pulse is doing. We first roll our eyes (he gets so excited about too many things!) and then we go check.
Grudgingly, we admit he is right.
One of our favourite people at Pulse, Fua’d Lawal is living our lives at the moment, on an ambitious project to visit and tell stories from every state of Nigeria over a 72-day period, on web and Instagram.

We are so envious.
And the stories and images are, as we have come to expect from Fu’ad, heartfelt. We loved the stories from Benin, for instance and our hearts broke as a young artiste shares, without drama, how his parents sought to kill his dreams.
The way the stories are told, with humour, heart and punch make this a series everyone really should be reading.

From a set of lovers of the culture to another, we say well done guys. Let no one say Nigeria’s digital media aren’t doing groundbreaking work. And not all politics, please.
