There was a fire outbreak at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja today, and although there was no loss of documents or lives, fire gutted sections of the Dugbe Market in Ibadan today as well, razing down shops with valuables.
All these is coming barely two weeks after fire gutted the Office of the Accountant-General in Abuja. This string of fire outbreaks has raised fresh anxiety and worry by Nigerians on social media. It’s also particularly puzzling that these incidents are happening during the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
