Won’t forget

The leader

Under whose watch

Our daughters

Disappeared

With his retinue

Keeps dancing around

Screaming ‘Power!’

With each shout

Bombs answer

Souls depart

Ashes fill our throats

 

 

3.How

Will history

Forget

The anguish

And pains

From Chibok,

The horror

Nigeria

Swallowed

The bitterness

We are reluctantly

Munching?

 

4.In the face

Of Power

We’ve become defenceless

We’ve become preys

We’ve become rubbles

We’ve become prisoners

We’ve become powerless!

 

5.Now

Its become

Countless days

Of swallowing lies

And false promises

And slanders,

Countless days

Of anguish

Still our plea remains

Bring Back Our Girls

 

6.To cry

For the rescue

Of our

Daughters

Now seems

A stale act,

We have

Moved on

We are

Moving on

 

 

7.How can

This liberation chant (#BBOG)

Become stale?

How can

Some of us

Keep hailing

A government

Failing?

Chibok Girl

Bears

Our soul…

When they

Are defiled

We loose

Our collective

Their spirits

Will haunt Nigeria
