Based on logistics, yes! Whatever that means to Efe. But based on common sense? We’re not sure if Efe made a smart move with tonight’s nominations.
Recall that after ThinTallTony’s eviction last night, Biggie got the housemates into the arena for their Head of House task. It was the most hectic we’ve seen so far and after a long search for the letter strips to make up the phrase ” Head of House”, Efe came out tops having found all the complete letters.
Biggie announced him as the head of house for the week and added that he would be referred to as Ultimate Head of House. Because Biggie is the type to come up with all sorts of tricks, we found that part of Efe’s ultimate powers included solely picking all the housemates that will face eviction this week. Tough task right?
The housemates had to stand before Efe to pitch themselves to him, to give him a solid reason why he should not pick them. We all know Marvis and Bisola didn’t need to do too much convincing while the rest, especially TBoss and Debie-Rise had to come up with valid points. Did they fail at this?
Of course they did. Efe saved his two closest friends in the house, Marvis and Bisola leaving the other four to face eviction. It must be most difficult for TBoss and Debie-Rise who had to live through the nomination trauma last week. For Bally, it’s his first time facing eviction; Efe’s intangible excuse for picking him. Bassey has enjoyed some immunity in the last two weeks but we know he’s not particularly friends with Efe so he just had to be on the list.
But has this competition become about friendships? If Efe was being strategic about this game, he would have known to nominate Bisola who is obviously his strongest competition in the house, instead he alluded to the fact that he has deep respect for her and would not mind if she wins the prize money, in the event that he doesn’t. Because a large percentage of BBNaija fans in Nigeria are #teamEfe, there are tweets flying all over the place in praise of Efe’s originality and good heart.
The questions we need to ask are: Would Bisola do the same for him if she were in his shoes? Does this friendship thing going on in the house make any sense? Are some of the housemates losing sight of the point of the game? And that clique Debie-Rise always talked about, it looks like they’ve finally taken over the game…
But based on logistics, what do we know?
