Those nominated for appointments as commissioners in Cross River state will have to take compulsory integrity and aptitude test.
This was the directive of the state Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, on Monday.
Ayade disseminated the information through his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Ita, who said the nominees undergo the tests before their names can be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.
The governor also stated that nominees for chairmen and members of boards, agencies and parastatal as well as special advisers would also take the tests.
The statement read, “His Excellency, Prof. Ben Ayade, wants all the nominees for appointments as commissioners to undergo an integrity test. Additionally, the nominees would also write an aptitude test.”
