Yesterday evening marked the third day of the one-week long convention hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God and like other days it was characterized by dancing, singing, praying, study of the word and more.

During the Worship session led by the choristers of the Redeemed Christian church of God, one of the leading music ministers suddenly unleashed the Gahsinan anthem. In Case You Missed It, Gashinan Anthem is one of those songs that found its way into mainstream worship during the Hallelujah Challenge hosted by Nathaniel Bassey in June. Ever since then, its been one of the fast rising songs in the gospel music industry. Just a couple of days away, the song ranked #1 on our Top 10 Gospel Artiste chart.

As the song was chorused, we sang, jumped, screamed and could not hold back our joy as the choir sang the anthem so beautifully. Once again, we could not but appreciate the beauty, simplicity and originality embedded in the Gashinan Anthem. Believe it or not, this song featuring on the platform of the RCCG worldwide means so many things to the popularity of the song and the singer himself.
