She gave us Ko le Baje, Dansaki, Hallelujah and the big one Ijoba Orun amongst other album hits and then went into hiding.

Lara George is undoubtedly on of Nigeria’s A-list gospel acts with a track record of dropping hits that keeps us singing over and over again but we’ve noticed her absence lately. She released You alone Oluwa – the medley in 2014 and we didn’t hear from her again until early 2016 when she dropped total surrender after which she gave us another long silence.

The Soforte entertainment-signed singer has just proven that she is going nowhere with the announcement of her upcoming album – A slice of heaven. She made this announcement on her Instagram page recently and we can only conclude this is the reason for her prolonged absence.

Whatever might be the case, we believe Lara George is up to something big and this would compensate for her long time of silence.
