By now, you should know that Church Blog represents all things Christian, Gospel and The Church at large. So, when there’s something new, we always love to pay attention as well as talk about it and give honest reviews on The Church Blog.
So, there’s this new platform online called Redefined Gospel, a subsidiary of The Redefined Media – a social media marketing and publicist company. But, there’s something about this platform that’s grossly misleading. Their Instagram bio states that they are REDEFINED and their platform promotes both Christian and Islamic content.
A further look at their website shows one or two different resource/content portals. One for Christians and the other for Muslims where one can get several publications, songs, videos, news and daily devotionals.
There isn’t any crime in creating a multi-religious media platform of engagement. But, when you call it gospel – redefined gospel at that, you take our attention to Christianity and anything short of that is not acceptable.
The gospel essentially represents anything that has to do with all things Christ. Hence, our quest for political correctness or acceptability of platform should not put us at a point where our main message is trivialised. Whatever is worth doing at all should be done excellently.
This platform sparked a conversation on Twitter and a few people shared their thoughts.
Can someone please help me with the definition of "Gospel"?
