Cristiano Ronaldo has been named UEFA’s best player in Europe.
The Portugal captain was announced as winner during the UEFA Champions League draw beating Real Madrid teammate, Gareth Bale and French forward, Antoine Greizmann.
While receiving the award Ronaldo said to Bale and Griezmann: “You deserve [to win the award] too because you are unbelievable players.”
Ronaldo won the 2016 UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid and captained Portugal to EURO 2016 triumph in France.
