There are indications that the alleged killers of Cynthia Osokogu might have recorded their crime while raping the post-graduate student of Nasarawa State University.
The bizarre video was reportedly found on the laptop of one of the suspects with the victim’s face clearly visible and the suspect’s faces blurred.
Reports say, apart from being tied and forcefully raped, the rapists also bit her deeply and several times in her breasts, buttocks and back.
Meanwhile, late Osokogu’s Blackberry smartphone was said to have been found in the possession of a Port Harcourt based businessman.
The businessman (names withheld) was arrested by detectives attached to Area ‘E’ Command Festac Town, Lagos, after her Blackberry Personal Identification Number (PIN) was retrieved from her father.
He reportedly admitted purchasing the phone through a friend in Lagos, adding that it was sent to him through courier services.
Cynthia Osokogu was allegedly murdered by two suspects, Echezona Nwabufor, 33, and Ezekiel Nnechuwu Olisa Eloka, 23, at Cosmilla Hotel, Lakeview Estate in Amuwo-Odofin, a Festac suburb, after luring her to Lagos with the intention of dispossessing her of her money.
The suspects were alleged to have drugged, beaten, and raped her before taking her life.
