The home of Jide Omokore, owner of SPOG and Atlantic Energy, was raided on Friday, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Omokore’s home was being searched while EFCC operatives were at the Abuja home of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

The SPOG boss is said to be one of the known business allies of Diezani.

Omokore is accused of participating in multi-billion dollar oil deals as well as the infamous kerosene scam.

SR reports that his home at 9 Turnbull Street as well as his office on Glover  Street, both in Ikoyi, have been sealed by the EFCC.
