The singer was a guest at Harvard University where he spoke to members of the Harvard African Student Association on the emergence of African music and the influence of pop culture across the world.

Runtown made it to Harvard during his just concluded tour of the US.

 

Martin Lawrence proposes to girlfriend

51-year-old actor and comedian, Martin Lawrence made the big move last week when he proposed to his girlfriend, Roberta Moradfar.

The Bad Boys actor popped the question with a custom 5 carat emerald cut engagement ring personalized with the characters “M(heart)R”.

Moradfar who is a nurse practitioner shared a photo collage on her Instagram and captioned: “And I said Yes!3.31.2017 marks a huge milestone in my life”.

This will be Martin’s third marriage.

 

Jennifer Lopez introduces boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez to her mum

Jennifer Lopez since moved on from Drake to baseball player, Alex Rodriguez and the couple have been unstoppable since then.

They’ve been photographed at events, they’ve given PDA goals on the streets of New York and Rodriguez has even unashamedly talked about his girlfriend on live TV.

The latest big move, however, is that J.Lo has officially introduced Rodriguez to her mum. The trio were seen strolling casually in New York and laughing to their own jokes.

Sometime in March, J.Lo also met her lover’s sister, the two ladies spent time together and the latter referred to Lopez as her sister-in-law. Go Jenny!!!

 

Dayo Amusa survives car crash

Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa narrowly escaped death after a car accident on the Ibadan-Ijebu motorway as she returned to Lagos from her movie premiere in Ibadan.

Dayo Amusa, who is promoting her new movie, Pathetic was in the car with her publicist and a TV presenter, Yemisi Jacobs when the accident happened on Sunday.

Her publicist said, “God in his infinite mercy took control of the car perfectly as no one of us was injured”.
