The Live Theatre on Sunday has announced Femi Osofisan’s The Engagement, an exciting comic stage presentation featuring Kolawole Adewale (k-Blaq), Morolayo Fakeye and Paul Origbo as her production for May 2014. Directed by Adebola Ogunshina (Santa) and produced by Adenugba Oluwanishola for Davidhouse Multimedia, The Engagement is a farce which features a proposal and an engagement between a shy and hypochrondriac young farmer, Elemude, and the daughter of his neighbour, Ronke.

The play is a hilarious look at the human character. It plays on the intricacies of human relationship and humorously explores the conflicts surrounding the idea of ‘ownership’, and our tendency to compete against one another even when Love is concerned.

The play comes up this Sunday at the New Unity Centre, 28 Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos at 4.00 and 5.30pm respectively. Admission is FREE. Simply text RESERVE to 08108156335 to book your seat or get a voucher at Naija Ticket Shop.com.
