For the second time in two weeks, a group of militants, Mangrove Boys of Bayelsa’, have warned the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, not to attend the presidential campaign rally in Bayelsa State on Friday, February 6.

After the first warning, and similar threats from another group, Patience Jonathan, had insisted that no one could stop her from coming for the rally.

The group warned the First Lady to discard her scheme with the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria to embarrass Governor Seriake Dickson.

The group in a statement entitled, “Final Warning to Mrs. Jonathan,” said its members are fully prepared to publicly disgrace the First Lady and President Jonathan if their loyalists try to go funny with Dickson.

In the statement signed by the President of the Executive Council of the MBB, Opuyo Engobare, the group described cautioned Mrs Jonathan against undermining the capability of its members.

The MBB said: “We remain resolute in our statement and actions and as such we have completed the mobilization of our determined youths who are ready to face any security hurdles at the rally.”

“For your information Mama Peace, we have mapped out strategies to station our boys within and outside the Sports Complex while waiting to receive your action before marching into the venue. A disgrace to our governor is a disgrace to your husband Jonathan who abandoned the saying that charity begins at home, forgetting that tomorrow does not belong to anybody.”

Meanwhile, 500 specially trained Presidential guards and 500 crack team of the Department of State Security have been reportedly deployed to the campaign venue, Samson Siasia Sports Complex.
