President Goodluck Jonathan and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gathered to celebrate the Ayo Fayose’s victory in Saturday’s gubernatorial elections in Ekiti state just a few hours after savouring the Super Eagles sweet victory against Bosnia in the ongoing World Cup.
The photos of the celebration was tweeted by Reuben Abati, special adviser on media and publicity to the president, which showed Jonathan, his deputy, Namadi Sambo and members of the NWC at the presidnetial villa toasting to the governor-elect of Ekiti state.
Ayo Fayose who contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won by a landslide victory at the June 21 election.
