Babachir Lawal, the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation is currently in a closed-door meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

Lawal’s suspension was ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday afternoon following allegations of violations of law and due process in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East (PINE).
