This is one family drama that has gotten audiences glued to their timelines but unlike ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, this is unscripted.
One can hardly keep up as each day brings its own twist and turns.
But to keep you firmly in the loop, here’s a recap of all that’s happened in 72 hours – in the lives of Tiwa Savage and TeeBillz – a story still unfolding.
It all started with a series of Instagram posts on Thursday, April 28 by Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun, who alleged that his wife had sexual relations with her Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy, singers, Dr Sid and 2Baba Idibia.
He also said she has not cooked for him in the past 3 years.
On the same day, it was reported that he almost jumped off the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge but was saved by a man – whose car he hit and his friends, Banky W and Peter of Psquare – who arrived on time to stop the attempt to end his own life.
While the Mavins and the singer in the eye of the storm, Tiwa Savage remained silent on the matter, Annie Idibia’s manager – Naomi Adenuga had this to say about TeeBillz.
By Friday reports started circulating that Tiwa Savage was going to address the issue through a pre-recorded video in which she would announce the end of her 2 year union.
In the interview, she spoke on her husband’s use of hard-drugs, a looming fraud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission as well as cheating escapades with several women.
After the video had been widely circulated, Nigerian social media got rife with conversation, especially on ‘Edible Catering’ – a name which Tiwa claimed TeeBillz used to save a woman’s number on his mobile phone.
‘Edible Catering’ was immediately compared to Jay Z’s alleged mistress – Becky with the good hair – which Beyonce sang about on her Lemonade album.

On Saturday, April 30, the search for ‘Edible Catering’ began… and different names were thrown in the mix – before they finally settled for Twitter user(@tennycoco) real names –Teniola Kashaam .
Although initially quiet in the face of the barrage of social media attacks, Teniola would eventually react after the taunts and swipes got to her.
Peter of Psquare -a close friend of the Baloguns – subsequently weighed-in on the issue.
After 48 hours of being silent, 2Baba Idibia – another close friend of the couple – also said his two-cents on the drama but he however, failed to say anything about the allegation that he shared a bed with Tiwa Savage.
I'm so disgusted at some people that have been making distasteful jokes out of people's real life heartbreaking predicament. GOD forgive u
