Just yesterday, we were here trying to correct the spreading notion that President Muhammadu Buhari did not transfer powers to run his office to the Vice President according to constitutional provisions, before going on his medical trip.

The matter caused a bit of confusion on the floor of the Senate and on social media too. Critics were quick to dismiss VP Osinbajo as a mere coordinator as opposed to Acting President, considering “coordinate” was the word PMB used in his letter to the Senate.

Suspended lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin decided to quickly weigh in on the non-issue today, although we doubt his target audience is paying any attention.
