Syndik8 Records’ front line act and Pepsi ambassador, Lynxxx, will kick off the northern region part of the ongoing ‘Lynxxx & Friends’ Campus Tour on Monday September 5, 2011 at the Medical Facility Auditorium of Benue State University. According to Wunmi Bakare, Syndik8 Records’ publicist, the ‘Change Ur Parade’ crooner will be joined by other mainstream artists including Tiwa Savage, DJ Zeez, Naeto C, Ice Prince, Eva, Show Dem Camp and A1 amongst others as the tour hits three different universities in the Northern region next week.
“With the success of his debut album, Lynxxx and Ikon are embarking on a university-wide tour in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Benue and Nassarawa catering to the ever-supportive college fans,” a statement from Bakare reads. The statement also noted that the ‘Lynxxx & Friends’ tour will be stopping in the East and Southwest region later this year.
After the Benue show, the tour pack will highlight at the Convocation Auditorium of Nassarawa State University on Wednesday September 7 before proceeding to the Atlas Hotel Hall of University of Abuja on Friday September 9, 2011.
The tour will be hosted by the BEAT 99.9 FM’s On-air Personality, Oreka Godis and IllRymz, while International DJ Caise will be on the wheels of steel, steering the music with Syndik8’s in-house producer, Ikon.
Lynxxx’s debut album, ‘This Is Lynxxxx’ was released in December 2010 on the back of his highly successful debut single, ‘Change Ur Parade’. The album was released under Syndik8 Records, an imprint he co-owns with label’s in-house producer, Ikon.
