Simi is an experienced multi-award-winning Broadcaster who has worked across media platforms in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria. With a First-Class Degree in Broadcasting and Journalism from the University of Wales, she currently hosts the Saturday and Sunday morning shows on the Beat 99.9FM and on television anchors 53 Extra on African Magic. Having won the Future Awards Africa for Best OAP (TV and Radio) in 2019, Simi uses her platform to share her passion for entertaining and educating the youth; tomorrow’s leaders.
Femi is a multi-award-winning broadcast journalist/radio host of Morning Cross Fire Abuja, Nigeria Info Abuja. Femi’s broadcast technique has been described as ‘unscripted, unvarnished, thought-provoking and decisive’ and draws a compelling audience in with every broadcast as the King of Talk Radio. His frequent subjects of discussion include national politics, national policy development, macro-economy, elections, national security, governance and international affairs. He is credited with thought leadership for citizen overview on politics, governance and policy development. He leads several radio shows as a mix of political and social commentary from a progressive and analytical point of view.
Chiamaka is popularly known as Honey Ojukwu and works at Cool FM, PH. Her stylish engagement presentation will literally add ‘honey’ to your ears every other time you listen to her. The multiple award-winning OAP, accomplished speaker and multi-talented personality is, indeed, consistent in what she does. She calls herself the ‘Lioness of New School’ and you can’t argue less.
Gbemi works at The Beat 99.9 FM. She is regarded as one of Nigeria’s successful radio host and has continued to garner a following on social media and on radio. In plain terms, Gbemi is a seasoned On Air Radio & TV personality and event compere. She has worked at reputable media organisations such as NTA, Cool FM and currently presents “The Drive Time Show with Gbemi” on The Beat99.9FM every weekday. In the past nine years, she has won numerous awards for her outstanding work in the entertainment industry.
Omotunde, known as Lolo1, became an On-Air Personality for the first time when she joined Metro FM. She later joined Wazobia FM, which she left in 2019 after over 11 years hosting the radio programme, ‘Oga Madam.’ She currently presents programmes on Lasgidi FM, where she has continued to thrill listeners on radio. Lolo1 has previously won the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Award for Outstanding Radio Program Presenter.
Sandra is a Broadcast Journalist and Media Personality. She currently hosts the Drive Time News and Current Affairs radio show, “Hard Facts” on Nigeria Info 99.3FM in Lagos. She hosts a podcast, How Nigeria Works, alongside Andy Obuoforibo, both trying to bust the myth that Nigeria’s problems are unique, by showing the universal principles at work. Sandra is an accomplished events host and compere and has hosted many local and corporate events. She is also a Public Speaker and has given a TedxYouth talk.
Toolz was recently appointed the Director of Programmes at Beat 99.9FM. She is a vivacious and award-winning on-air personality. She currently hosts her own radio show ‘The Midday Show with Toolz’ (weekdays) on The Beat 99.9FM and has hosted NdaniTV’s ‘The Juice’ which aired on Africa Magic Entertainment. Before trying her hand at radio presenting on the Beat 99.9FM, Toolz gained extensive experience within the British entertainment industry, where she worked at MTV Networks Europe for several years before moving on to the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.
Chioma is the Head of Programmes, Inspiration FM. Alongside, Catch ‘D’ Fire, she hosts ‘Breakfast Jam’, a popular day starter spiced with informative contents, music and general interaction with the public on global developments. It is aimed at uplifting the mind of the listener, as he/she is work bound and setting their pace for the day.
Tolulope is a CNN Journalism fellow and has also completed training with some of the best in the field, from organisations such as the BBC, VOA and Al-Jazeera. Understanding the role of social media in today’s journalism, she has received training on ‘Journalism and the New Media Tools’. Tolulope widened her scope of knowledge, particularly concerning conflict and uprisings around the world, with a certificate in ‘Peace and Conflict Resolution’ from the Kofi Annan International Peace-Keeping Training Centre. She is Head of the Presentations Department at News Central TV. Before then, she was the host of “Morning Crossfire,” at Nigeria Info FM, a 5-hour live talk show that focused on current affairs, topical issues, and news of the day.
Chinedu is known as Nedu and is popular for his unique spin to the use of the Hausa accent which he spurns to produce raw comedy, in the process highlighting and discussing issues. He is also known for his hilarious alter ego personalities of Sister Nkechi, Alhaji Musa, End Time Landlord and Officer Jato which has given him a massive following of over 1 million people on Instagram.
Kachi reads the news on Classic Fm 97.3. An all-rounder of some sorts, he’s been a stage actor for many years, a television presenter, a screen actor and a model. His foray into radio broadcasting began in 2010. Prior to this he was the second runner up in the ‘Amstel Malta Box Office’ season 3 popularly known as AMBO 3. Kachi describes himself as an eclectic individual and believes the strength of any human being lies in their individuality. He is also a believer in living and letting others live.
Dotun is a popular OAP and works at Cool FM. He is a media personality passionate about all things radio, media and entertainment. While working in various capacities and levels as a voice-over artist, disk jockey, sound engineer and entrepreneur, his versatility and creative genius has shone through and he has separated himself from the pack. He was inducted to COOL FM as an Intern in 2004 and has become a household name. Some of his famous shows include the Sleep Talk, The Sunday Afternoon Show, Midday Oasis, The Greatest Countdown on Earth, Curious Case with Martell, Superstar Wednesday Office Concert, Friday Party Club Mix, Chevrolet Football Fan time and many more. His voice which can be easily recognised on any audio platform is of a subtle texture yet very energetic.
Vivian is an OAP at City FM. Also known as the Sassy Classy, The Bond Lady, she has shared studio time with the likes of hit producers Lay Low, KingPin and So Sick. She did part-time radio presenting alongside Dan Foster on 92.3 Inspiration Fm for “The Samsung Radio Show“, which kicked off her radio career, then to Reel Radio On line “The DJ Request hour show“. She is an event compere and an aspiring Nollywood actress.
Kofi is Broadcast Journalist, Host of The Morning Crossfire, known for holding elected officials accountable and hosts ‘Hard Facts’ on Nigeria Info PH. He is among the most amazing On-air Personalities (OAPs) in the country with an infectiously exquisite on-air and off-air personality. Kofi was born and raised in Nigeria but his parents are from Ghana. He works with leading talk radio station – 92.3 Nigeria Info FM, Port Harcourt, Rivers.
Fola is a broadcaster and media entrepreneur. She is currently a broadcaster and media content manager at SMOOTH 98.1 FM LAGOS. Armed with over ten years practical experience in the media industry, Fola is also involved in media training and capacity building for young graduates as the Operations Director of the BROADCAST RADIO MASTER CLASS; a radio presenter training institute that organizes quarterly classes and workshops on Basic presentation and digital media skills. She’s the Author of The IDENTIFIGHT prayer devotional and the eBook “Low Budget Music Promotion and Publicity.” Fola Folayan is a public speaker and media influencer.
