Hello Nigerians, the first citizen has assured that you will be happy with the poll results when announced on Monday.

The president stated this shortly after casting his vote in Bayelsa moments ago.

According to him, despite the challenge of the malfunctioning card readers and more hitches experienced so far, the poll results will not be tampered with.

“Thank you Nigerians for coming out to vote despite the stress, but it will end well. Let’s all be hopeful.  The election will be free and fair and extremely credible,” he assured.

President Jonathan has cut the image of a statesman as he cast his vote in his hometown of Otueke, Bayelsa State.
