A Nigerian dancer, Odumewu Debbie, has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest dance marathon by an individual.

The 22-year-old also known as Pink Debbie, a dance performer, exhibitionist, and media influencer has broken the record which currently stands at 123 hours and 15 minutes (approximately five days), achieved by Kalamandalam Hemaletha (India) at the Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy in Thrissur, Kerala, India from September 20 to 26 2010.

Pinki Debbie started her sojourn at The Palms Shopping Mall, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, November 17 and danced for 137 hours (approximately six days) – ended on Friday, November 24.
