Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, has stated that Buhari did not discuss the issue of same sex marriage with President Barrack Obama.

Adesina put out out more tweets to clarify that Buhari had the gay-marriage discussion with American lawmakers.

He tweeted thus;

The same sex marriage issue came up at the joint session of Senate and House Committees on Foreign Affairs, not in direct talks with Obama.

Talks shifted to another matter once PMB emphatically stated Nigeria’s stand on same sex marriage. The issue was not pushed.
