“Purposeless purposelessness and conscienceless consciencelessness” – Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon has a message for you

by Lekan Olanrewaju

Everyone’s favourite ex-member of the House of Reps, Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon, has once more spoken out about the removal of fuel subsidy on petroleum products which led to nationwide protests at the beginning of the year.

In a phone call to the Nigerians Saving Nigerians organisation, he first of all thanked Nigerians for the “cabodo rejectamenta” they answered the government’s decision with.

“Let me first of all thank Nigerians, especially Nigerians in the diaspora  who rose up as one armada to say a cabodo rejectamenta to the Nigerian government when it accepted to withdraw the fuel subsidy” he said.

“That was a very irresponsible act of government and I am happy that Nigerians coalesced for the first time across the world.”

He went on to say that the fuel subsidy removal was as a result of “purposeless purposelessness’ as well as “directionless directionlessness and conscienceless consciencelessness”.

“And I can say so even from mountain Olympus today, that the attempts by the government to remove the fuel subsidy regime as far as I’m concerned smacked up of purposeless purposelessness directionless directionlessness and conscienceless consciencelessness.”
