#5kBae’s Pablo is back in the spotlight and he’s decided to remind us just how silly he is

At what point do we start to separate mere Twitter bants from real life issues that should be seriously dealt with?

It’s been barely one month since the #KeepTheChangeBae/#5kbae trend that got all the circles on Twitter NG in a frenzy for days. Remember the hashtag was triggered by some young dude, Pablo Ayodeji who clearly misbehaved by sharing subliminal tweets after a date with a lady who refused to go the relationship path after “spending his money”.

It was the young lady’s response to his brief rant that got everyone impressed and made for a marketing campaign idea for many brands, hence the hashtag #5kbae.

Fast forward to Monday afternoon, Twitter NG is boiling over the Kemen/TBoss sexual assault issue and rape apologists are trooping out in their numbers. Pablo the silly, Pablo the immature and Pablo the reckless thought it best to tweet about murdering any woman who accepts his luxury gifts and later refuses to marry him. And worse off, he uses OJ Simpson whose murder case is one of the most famous in history as a symbolism.

Now, we’re not sure if this is another attempt at getting attention or this boy is delusional or just insecure when it comes down to issues of spending in relationships, what we’re sure of is this: Pablo Ayodeji needs some time off Twitter to get help in form of counselling.

He clearly didn’t pick any lessons from the #5kbae issue although he claimed he was victimized by a few people he met in public places and even considered hurting himself. Now we have reason to believe he only tried to play victim as the only escape route from the backlash that followed his actions.

Today though, he has gotten some encouragement from other Twitter users who share his sick sense of humour. They’ve told him to pay no mind to critics and to continue to tweet his opinion, afterall it’s his data. Good advice. Pablo can continue on this journey to destruction as long as he doesn’t drag anyone else along, as long as he doesn’t actually murder anyone for unrequited love.

Or can we take a holistic approach to solving this issue? Can Twitter get scrapped already?
