The Saudi Arabian government on Monday beheaded an Ethiopian housemaid for killing her employer’s child 3 years ago.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the execution was ordered by the King after the convict confessed to have stabbed the 6-year-old victim to death allegedly in retaliation for her family’s ill-treatment.

Saudi kingdom had earlier executed 118 people so far this year.

On Jan. 2, authorities beheaded 47 people, including a prominent Shiite cleric, on terrorism-related charges.
