The First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan arrived yesterday in South Korea for a three-day working visit.
She was received at the Incheon International Airport by the Nigerian Ambassador to South Korea, Desmond Akawor, his wife and wives of the ambassadors of South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire , Uganda, Gabon, Angola and Luanda amongst other government dignitaries.
The Dame has already attended a special banquet at the National Museum, and is set to attend the Grand Opening of the 24th Church Growth International Conference at the Yoido Full Gospel Church. She is also billed to attend the International Grand Prayer Rally, along with governors and ministers’ wives who are in Korea to partake in a prayer session for their individual states and the nation as a whole.
While some might say that’s a long way to travel for prayers, the wife of the president clearly believes no distance is too far to travel for the salvation of the nation, as this is the third time Mrs Jonathan will be attending prayer sessions for Nigeria at the Yoido Church.
We say amen.
