People like Stella Oduah should be glad they are not rotting in a jail cell with the keys thrown down a pit. The problem with people like Oduah is that the country’s weak system has allowed her strut around like a peacock.

In the week under review, Oduah thought it appropriate to ‘remind’ Nigerians that she did not buy bulletproof cars for herself as she boasted of her ‘achievements’ during her time as Aviation Minister. It’s most likely that the senator (who were those that voted her) has developed selective amnesia. She was fired for buying two BMW cars for N285m.

Senate President Bukola Saraki takes the top spot in the YNaija Effectiveness Ranking for Senators. The former governor took the jump after he declared that he was no longer receiving pensions from the Kwara state government.
