Faith Naija: Talk to Him, it works!

By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.” – Psalm 134:1 (KJV)

If there is a time we needed to pray more, this is that time. God is looking for men and women fervent in prayer. This is because the devil as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he will devour. His plan is to distract you and stop you from fulfilling purpose and prayers will put him just where he belongs.

The same thing applies to anything that has to do with you. You are setting up a business or family or whatever it is and you are not under guarding it with prayers, there is no way you can be able to fulfill all that God has ordained. Prayer is not a casual thing, it is not what you do occasionally, it is not what you do as an emergency device, it is your life. God intends that we pray on a daily basis, he said, ”pray without ceasing” 1 Thess. 5: 17. Make it your lifestyle, be happy about prayers, and enjoy it because every time you pray, something happens. The devil fears your prayers. So you must commit to prayers, not just now but at all times because the days are evil.

Prayer is not a one-way traffic discussion where you simply talk to God, telling Him every challenge, every situation and get up and run off. No, prayer is a  two-way conversation, God also wants to talk to you back. He wants to give you unique ideas. He wants to give you the secrets of the Kingdom and tell you what next to do.

When you go to God in true prayer and you listen to Him, you receive from Him divine instructions that keep you ahead of competitors. This is the key to supernatural living.
