Nigerian singer Tems and the cast of the upcoming series starring Enioluwa, Priscilla Ojo and more have chosen to postpone the release of their music video and official trailer of the “All of Us” series, respectively.
Nigerians took to the streets to show the government (Tinubu’s administration) how they felt about the government and its anti-people policies through the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest.
The protest began on August 1 and is expected to continue till August 10 as Nigerians lament about the widespread hunger in the country. The rising cost of living has left Nigerians angry and frustrated at the government, which claims to have its people’s needs in mind.
In solidarity with the protest, Tems postponed the release of her Burning music video off her recently released album “Born in the Wild”. At the same time, the cast of one of the most anticipated series, “All of Us”, has also postponed the release of the series’s official trailer, which was scheduled to be released on August 1st.
Other celebrities like Regina Daniels, Falz, Vector, Toke Makinwa, Burna Boy, and more have lent their voice to the protest in one way or another.
Out of respect for the on going protest at home🇳🇬, I have decided to postpone the release of Burning music video. Praying for the safety of those outside at this time.
