Pop icon, 2face Idibia was overwhelmed with emotion as he buried his father, Michael Agbo Idibia, in his hometown of Amufu Ejeba in Enumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.

2face while paying his tributes during the burial ceremony, said his father was humble, kind and an extraordinary gentleman. He also added that the late Pa Idibia was a good man, who is “definitely in heaven”.

He said, “My father is the most humble and kindest I man have ever met. My dad was such a gentleman, it was unbelievable. I can go on about my dad and I will still not have enough to describe how peaceful he was. He fought till the end but God knows the best”.

“To put things plain and simple, my father was a good man and my consolation is knowing that he is definitely in heaven where we hope to meet him one day. Mummy and all of us will miss you dearly”, 2face added.

Meanwhile, his mother, Rose Idibia said the passing of her husband was still like a dream to her, saying she is “lost in transition”.

“In this bitter season of darkness, I am lost in transition. I wish this dream of your depature from my life will not be true but God cannot lie for he stated it in the holy book that there is time for everything,” she said.

Pa Michael Agbo Idibia up the ghost on Saturday, 23 August, in an Abuja hospital, where he had been hospitalised for days, after battling with prostrate cancer.
