Today’s Noisemakers: Reekado Banks, Don Jazzy, Bashir Ahmad, others

Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.

Here’s our list from today:

1. Feyi Fawehinmi

While we were pondering why the National Assembly jacked up their part in the 2018 Budget, and Buhari’s complaints about deductions, Mr Feyi has something to say:

2. Reekado Banks

This is from his Instagram story but had to appear on today’s list.

Okay, we don’t understand. Where did this realisation come from?

3. Olanrewaju

Sometimes, you don’t ‘think’ how some things happen, it will only release more worms.

4. Don Jazzy

We should oo, we should.

Tell us more uncle!!

5. Amelli

Unfortunately bro…

6. Bashir Ahmad

Finally, our dear President did not wait until months and months of ‘investigation’ before visiting disaster areas.

7. Wale Adenuga

Pastor Wale has something very important to tell us. We should listen to him.

LIFE LESSONS It's such a delight seeing Jay Jay Okocha doing his analysis on Super Sports. I've learnt a lot from him. We all know that he is superbly talented. But the bundle of your talent doesn't last forever. Age catches up with you if you're doing sports. If you are a singer, you can't be on top of the charts forever because someone with a new spunking groove or better songwriting craft and voice is going to knock you off. But that does not mean you can't be eternally relevant. It's important for talented people to know that what God has gifted them with might be bio-degradable like @lekealder aptly put it a while back. Talented people must always ask themselves the question, what else can I do? Fred Hammond did that song YOU ARE THE LIVING WORD. He alluded about Jesus being many things on earth? Now the question is, how many things are you on earth? Secondly, in the prime of your youth while expressing your talent maximally, be of good behaviour and let your head be correct. Because the way you behave then can affect your future. The memory of your name while you played the game can cause doors to open or cause them to close. #My2Cents
