US President Donald Trump on Friday held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the White House
The White House disclosed the meeting between the two leaders.
The two leaders are expected to discuss their differences over NATO, Russia, global trade and a host of other issues.
The Oval Office meeting had been scheduled for Tuesday before a major snowstorm in the eastern United States forced a postponement.
The pair are to hold a joint press conference at 1:20 pm (1720 GMT).
