Unafraid Lamido believes Atiku, Kwankwaso are Buhari’s ‘greatest enemies’

Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, may not be “afraid of anybody”, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to create division in the All Progressives Congress.

Lamido, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, says the presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari, should be wary of his former challengers, Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwankwaso, both of whom he beat the clinch the party’s ticket.

In spite of repeated assurances by the pair of being fully on board with Muhammadu Buhari, the governor of Jigawa state, still believes they are the retired General’s real enemies.

Lamido said this on Monday, March 23, during a rally of Malam Aminu Ringim, the state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, at Garki Local Government Area of the state.

He said: “I have never been an enemy of General Buhari. We don’t share the same political ideology and so I cannot pretend to admire his political beliefs, but Abubakar and Kwankwaso are his greatest antagonists because he scuttled their presidential ambitions when he won their party primaries.”

And he also said what any party faithful would say, even if he doesn’t believe his words – “There is no amount of hatred, harassment and intimidation by any political party that will stop the PDP from winning this month general elections in Nigeria.”
