US senator, Ben Sasse has commended the country’s military for its airstrikes in Syria on Friday.

Sasse, a member of the Republican party and the junior senator from the state of Nebraska said the troops “met injustice with strength”.

The senator who isn’t a big fan of President Donald Trump urged the president to propose a comprehensive strategy to Congress to protect American interests.
