Usain Bolt has nothing to prove when it comes to sprinting on the tracks. As the world record holder in the 100m and 200m sprint events, it’s safe to say he’s been there, done that and has a T-shirt for it.
When he’s not sprinting though, he’s an avid Manchester United supporter, and has previously expressed his desire to play for the club. Yes, you heard right.
The 25-year-old Bolt certainly thinks he has what it takes to make the cut at Old Trafford. He was recently filmed sending a message to Ferguson extolling his footballing talents.
“Make sure Alex Ferguson gets this tape,” said Bolt. Then he played some football on the dusty pitch.
Erm… let’s just say based on the evidence of that ‘trial run,’ he should not expect a call from Sir Alex Ferguson anytime soon.
