Who does that? Woman checks dog into hotel but leaves young daughters at home alone

Williamson County deputies raided Kristine Noffsinger’s property when they heard she had abandonned her children.

She cared more about her dog than her young kids.

Texas mom Kristine Noffsinger allegedly checked her beloved pet into a hotel when she went away for three days.

But the 29-year-old left her two daughters, aged 8 and 10, home alone to feed, bathe, and get to and from school themselves, police said.

She is now facing charges of abandoning or endangering the youngsters.

Cops claim Noffsinger, of Austin, traveled April 17 to St Louis. Her dog, Teddy, was taken to a PetSmart hotel, but her children were abandoned.

Child Protective Services were tipped off, and Williamson County deputies raided the Round Rock property.

The girls told cops they’d recently moved from Illinois and didn’t have any family in Texas, My Fox Austin reports.

The pair were taken into protective custody and have since been relocated with one of their fathers.

Noffsinger was arrested on her return home. She is currently in Williamson County jail on $40,000 bail.
