The competition to win the Big Brother Naija contest influences a lot of over the top sentiments among fans of the show, so much so that it almost feels like a presidential race or a high stakes sports tournament. Evictions are marginally agonising, and some fans take it too personally when they have to say goodbye to their faves.
However distressing evictions may be, it pales in comparison to how deplorable the disqualification of a fan favourite is. This was proven last season with the outcry that arose from Tacha’s disqualification and has been buttressed by the disqualification of Erica this season.
This sort of disqualification drama often spills into many conversations, some productive and others not so much. For Erica, her disqualification sparked a nationwide debate about her actions, to the point that those who aren’t even familiar the show were aware of this event. Read the story here…
As we all know, with this sort of attention comes a number of band-wagoners who deem it profitable to be a part of the conversation, and popular crossdresser and influencer; Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky is the latest to join this relentless train.
In a video she released yesterday on her social media, Bobrisky promised Erica a slew of gifts, following a disclaimer that she isn’t clout chasing. “Bobrisky doesn’t have time to clout chase, I’m the boss…” she stated, after which she mentioned a couple of things she planned on gifting Erica.

She promised to gift Erica a trip to Dubai at the hotel, Versace Palazzo, with a first-class cabinet ticket on the Emirate. She also promised to give Erica $2000 for shopping only.
Before this, she confirmed a prior promise online by sending a screenshot showing a successful transfer of N1 million, followed by a thank you message from Erica.
