Relationships remained the theme on Day 19 of the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ Reunion show. On last night’s episode, fans of the show were able to get a glimpse into what is arguably the most controversial relationship in the house.

Frodd and Esther

Show host, Ebuka began by playing clips of Frodd and Esther in the house, after which he asked Esther when it all started. She said she had seen him in the kitchen one time with his glasses on and thought he was cute.

“So you genuinely liked him because most people think you didn’t?” Ebuka asked. “I liked him, I realized I liked him more outside the house, but I knew I liked him.  He grew on me,” she responded.

Asked to describe the journey into the entire relationship, Frodd began by disclosing that Esther chose him to be her big brother, but along the line especially outside the house, with the fan base, family and friends interfering, the relationship came to an abrupt end.

Esther on the other hand, stated that if Frodd wants to date her, then he should ask properly. Retorting, Frodd claimed that it “happened on the 36th floor of Hilton in Dubai.”

Commenting on their relationship, Jackye noted that she is yet to understand what both of them are doing and from her perspective, she also believes Esther didn’t like Frodd in the house.

The issue of tribe was also brought up and Esther said it was a deterrent at first, but she felt like with time, it could be overlooked. Frodd later brought up the issue of Esther pulling up to events in fancy cars, alluding to the possibility of her having friends “in the upper echelon,” as he described it. The development led to bickering between the pair.

Omashola and Kim Oprah

Asked what was going on between the pair, Omashola said Kim Oprah is very ambitious and he doesn’t want to get in the way of that.

For Kim, his self-centeredness gets in the way of things, but as far as loyalty goes, she knows he will always be in her corner. They also had a back and forth on an issue, they refused to disclose.
