A 74-year-old man, Godwin Agada, has been arrested by the Delta state Police Command for defiling a 12-year-old girl.
Agada, a bicycle repairer forcefully penetrated the young girl after luring her into his workshop with two hundred naira.
The septuagenarian lured the victim through her friend, 14-year-old Ebele who he had also been sleeping with.
Agada was arrested after the father of the 12-year-old victim reported the matter to police.
He confessed to the crime, and also said he was sleeping with Ebele, saying he did it to fulfil his sexual urges.
He said he did not defile them for spiritual purposes and that he did not take any sex enhancement drugs to boost his libido before penetrating girls.
The incident was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, SP Celestina Kalu who said a doctor’s report confirmed the defilement
