It was all lights and action on Saturday the 15th at The Powerbase, Surulere, the location of the music video shoot for Naeto C’s hit single, ’10 Over 10′ as an eclectic crowd of party-feverish locals, passers-by, staff and stars of Storms Records, the artiste’s backing record label, packed the brightly-lit grounds.

Spotlights and multicoloured hanging bulbs plied their beams across a makeshift stage upon which a deejay worked his magic, piping dance tracks through a number of mounted speakers. The ambience was surreal as several Nigerian entertainers were on hand to make cameo appearances in the music video. R&B artiste Chuddy K, mix-master DJ Neptune and the energetic femcee Sasha added a stellar dimension to the event.

The cameras began rolling at dusk with several colourful and ingenious scenes shot on different parts of the set. The only hiccup in the otherwise hitch-free event was a slight delay brought on by the harassment of Naeto C by a small group of touts. The arrival of an armed policeman on the scene promptly restored order. Here are some of the best moments of the shoot, captured by camera phone in true fan style.
