Hon Justice A. R. Mohammed of the Federal High Court Abuja today heard and declined a motion exparte filed and argued by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal’s lawyers.
In the application, Tambuwal sought for an injunction to restrain the House of Representatives from reconvening and from having any meeting to remove him as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Also declined by the Court was an application for an order of court directing the Inspector General of Police to restore the security aides of Tambuwal.
Declining the application, the Judge ordered the applicants to serve the motions on the Defendants to afford them the opportunity of responding and showing cause why the injunction should not be granted. He however directed that parties maintain status quo till Friday November 7, 2014 for the Defendants to respond to the applications and show cause why they should not be granted. It is gathered that a Memorandum of Conditional appearance was today filed by Counsel to the Federal Government, Dr Fabian Ajogwu SAN and Mr Ade Okeaya-Inneh SAN.
It would be recalled that Tambuwal who recently defected from the PDP to the APC had sued the Inspector General of Police, The Attorney General of the Federation, INEC, the Deputy Speaker House of Reps, PDP, and the PDP Chairman seeking to preserve his position. The matter is adjourned to November 7, 2014.
He should step down immediately, how can he be servin the public and at same time defect to the party that we all see as supporters of boko haram,he should surrender the post to well behaved Nigerian.

Am happy for the first step taken on this issue by d judiciary . I now want all affected to response. Pls nigeria judiciary we relie on u so that nigeria is not totally destroyed. Impunity by present Gov beyond understanding xcorruption too much all GEJ cronies are not advising him well only to corrupt all sectors and make away money . If economy is good and there is no peace insecurity order of d day corruption every where am over 70yrs this is worst such a president has totally failed GEJ is good person but has been mixlead by his cronies beyound repair . Pls security and peace is first thing a president should be proud off not stable economy. Every nigeria can carter for themselves if there is peace. To hell with d rest of d world if nigeria is peaceful that is what we want than economy stability . GEJ is facing economy infrastructure stability this we don’t want at d expense of peace. Judiciary act fast possibly stop GEJ contesting. Or stop both GEJ and Buhari to safe nigeria as sheik gumi has said. All what Gumi wrote is correct I respect him. I expect our so called christian leaders to write GEJ and buhari publicly as Gumi did well am still watting . Am a christian ooo . We nigeria that witness Biafra war are afraid all these 50yrs old below citizen of nigeria that believe in money who have not seen war only reading papers. Our dear friends ibo people stop follow follow because of money fight for u too to rule . Only owele okorocha is messiah for u people may be a lived in d north. Northerners will accept okoroch and with APC south west will accept him. With PDP because of today money u people may not find it easy oo . As excpected t okorocha is playing ur politics not of money no nigeria will feel easy to vote ur people into power. All ibo must follow footstep of okorocha this will bring u people back to line. God will safe us amen
