Just when you think they’ve hit a peak, the Mo’Hits crew soar higher and break new grounds! A few months ago, hot on the heels of a Mo’Hits collaboration with Snoop Dogg, we brought you the story of US artist Kanye West’s tweet at Nigerian Don Jazzy and D’banj and all the buzz it generated. Finally we have the full picture!

Believe it or not, Kanye West has just signed Dapo Adebanjo a.k.a. D’banj and his producer Don Jazzy to his GOOD (Getting Out Our Dreams) Music label, which is home to John Legend, Common, Mos Def, Kid Cudi, Hit Boy and Big Sean, among other artistes.

D’Banj’s manager, Sunday Are, confirmed that there have been talks between Mr. West and D’banj but that D’Banj officially signed the contract today. “Yes there have been discussions between the two parties lately. They have been exchanging contracts but now the wait is over,” he said.

The obviously elated Nigerian superstars made some comments on twitter, shown in the screenshots below:

“Their tweets say it all,” Sunday Are said, speaking to our YNaija correspondent. He then promised that all will be revealed in a press conference on Monday. We await the results of this awesome collaboration.
