It has now been confirmed that Liberian authorities knew Patrick Sawyer might be infected with the Ebola virus before he was allowed to travel to Nigeria for a conference.
According to an internal company newsletter, the iron mining firm he worked for, ArcelorMittal suspended him from work when they suspected he had got the virus from his late sister and reffered him to the Liberian health ministry for observation,
