Guess who’s made a comeback? Since his 2006 hit single ‘Hapuya’ and his 2007 album ‘The Proof’, Morachi has been away from the limelight for far too long. Behind the scenes, he’s been writing music for himself and others as well as working on his new album. The album, which was previously set for release in 2008, got shelved due to the activities of pirates.

His first single off the album ‘Ibu Onye’, is an ethnic sounding track with Morachi singing in Igbo and pidgin English. There’s been speculation that the song is a response to Wande Coal’s ‘Who Born the Maga’, but Morachi refutes the rumour calling it ‘weightless speculation’!
