Abigail Brown thought it wise to kidnap her two children and demand for a N6million ransom from her husband.

Brown, who was recently arrested, plotted the evil deed with her husband’s former driver, ThankGod.

According to reports, both were said to have kidnapped the couple’s two children and called the husband to pay a ransom to enable their release.

Brown, in a confessional statement she had earlier disowned, said that frustrations from being abandoned by her husband led her to commit the act as she had no means of survival.

Brown hid her two children, aged two and 10 respectively, in her sister’s place for the duration of the kidnap.

Her plot was going as planned when she was caught and arrested by the police.

According to her, “I did it because of frustration. My husband abandoned me and my children.

“Since he left us and went away, I have been suffering with my children, and I know that he has money.

“I only did it to make him bring money for me to take care of the children we had together.”

“I did not demand up to that amount, but I demanded money from my husband.”

In his defense, ThankGod completely blamed his former boss’ wife claiming she manipulated him into being an accomplice.

He said, “She called me to help her. She told me to take the two children to her sister’s place. That is how I got involved.

“She used me to act as the kidnapper of the two children before we were arrested. She lured me into it.”
