The 10 biggest hit songs produced by Don Jazzy in the last decade

Few others know their onions and the average Nigerian music consumer, like the musically adept Michael Ajereh Collins a.k.a Don Jazzy.

He has built from scratch two great music groups- Mo’Hits and Mavins- that have earned countless commercial successes.

The prolific producer, who has won himself various accolades and awards, became one of Africa’s biggest exports after he contributed production work to Lift Off, a track on Jay Z and Kanye West’s Grammy award-winning album Watch the Throne.

In celebration of this outstanding character who turned 33 yesterday, YNaija presents the 10 biggest hit songs he’s produced in the last decade:

  1. Oliver Twist – D’Banj

This is definitely Don Jazzy’s most impactful production and the most significant, owing to its status as the last official collaboration between himself and D’Banj.

The song, which was released in 2011, catapulted the pair to the pinnacle of their careers and also brought about the demise of their partnership.
