Alhaji Inuwa Wada, the former Minister of Defence in the First Republic, is dead.
Leadership reports that Wada, who was 106-year-old, died on Thursday night.
The veteran politician passed on, at his house in Durumin Iya quarters in Kano state.
His burial is expected to take place by 2pm on Wednesday.
